Caffeinating in OC

Morning Lavender Cafe

330 El Camino Real, Tustin CA 92780

How absolutely charming is this place, huh?!?! The lavender latte is stellar. The lavender lemonade is perfect on a hot summer day. The lavender tea… you get the idea.

This place is so girly, I’m not surprised they have afternoon tea! I’m still trying to find the opportunity to do so. Let me know in the comments how you liked it, if you have. And feel free to leave some tips on how to catch an open spot!

Huskins 1901 E First St #138, Santa Ana CA 92705

Huskins occupy a large space on the bottom floor of an apartment building — how lucky are the residents in there area?! Great coffee. Great space.

The Nook

2930 Bristol St #B105, Costa Mesa CA 92626

The coffee is so good and they make them strong. And it’s a major plus that they’re in the anti-LAB mall with a lot of nice “nooks” to enjoy your coffee in.

Lion and Lamb

3186 Pullman St, Costa Mesa CA 92626

This large coffee place will take a bit more ”driving and looking” investment as it’ located in an industrial center. They have a beautiful mural on the outside making it easy for you to figure out that you've found the coffee shop at last. Lion and Lamb not only serve great coffee, but they serve it for a cause.

There are plenty of large tables to work on or chat with friends. The ceilings are also high enough you'll feel comfortable taking off your mask.

7755 Irvine Center Drive, Irvine CA 92618

Found on the bottom floor of an office building in the midst of a commercial center, Wall Writers Coffee is conveniently located. There is so much work space inside and outside. The coffee isn't bad either.

Stereoscope Coffee

100 Bayview Cir Ste 1200, Newport Beach CA

Seems like Orange County really like to work at their coffee shops. Stereoscope Coffee in Newport is one of three locations in Southern California. This one is located on the ground floor of a very large office building which is part of a commercial center - another centrally located coffee shop.

Though the is only a handful of available seats in side the cafe, the building atrium-lobby adjacent accessible from the coffee shop, in two different ways, has at least a dozen tables and couches to choose from. The courtyard at the front also offers many tables to enjoy your coffee on.

Stereoscope Coffee not o only offers great coffee, but ceremonial grade matcha served different ways. They're good too! You should try them too!
