While working my way through the coffee shops of LA, I realized that there's a ton of them in the Silver Lake - Echo Park portion of Sunset Blvd so I put them together here!
Andante Coffee Roasters is a great local coffee roaster located in a happening part of Echo Park. They offer their coffee in a variety of ways: drip, espresso, espresso drinks, cold brew. I've tried both their espresso drink and their drip coffee and both are amazing!
Another shop serving great coffee in this awesome neighborhood. They have these stairs a few doors down from them which you should use to take a walk around the neighborhood.
Woodcat uses their beans to make that awesome Cortado which had the perfect amount of tartness - which to me is not too tart at all. Just sweet chocolatey smoothness here. Grab and go set up on the sidewalk.
If the clean light awesome taste of Silverback Coffee of Rwanda doesn't convince you to come visit, then their awesome cause would. Buying their coffee helps more than one cause: the silverback gorillas, the victims of Rwandan genocide, local Rwandan farmers and Rwandan female entrepreneurs.

If ever the time comes when we can enjoy indoor dining again, I hope we can enjoy Dinosaur's great selection of loose leaf tea and espresso drink selections in their light and airy space. Children and tea-lover friendly!

Modern desert esthetics at work here. Your Instagram feed is waiting. The drip coffee here is great too. I'll need to come back and try their more popular signature drinks.
La Colombe is famous for their "draft lattes" so make sure to try one. Their espresso drinks are also very good.
This Silver Lake location for Alfred is conveniently located next to Lark bake shop. Yum! Alfred's is a great place for reliably strong coffee.
One of my favorite San Francisco coffee for the longest time! And then they finally decided to share the love in LA! Thank you!
I will always always always have a special place in my heart for Intelligentsia Coffee because the barista managed to make me go back to coffee after several years coffee-free using unsweetened black coffee.
