Dandelion Chocolate has been in my list of places to try ever since I read about it in a "best of" San Francisco list years ago.
It was worth the out-of-the-way side-trip to insanely-hard-to-find parking Valencia neighborhood of San Francisco. (Update: We've since visited the 16th Street Factory location.)
First off, as soon as I entered their location, it almost didn't matter what their chocolate tasted like - the dining experience itself and the open view of the chocolate-bar-making portion of this site was already great. The kids enjoyed watching the people create chocolate bars in small batches.
But of course what we ate still mattered: We tried their Mission Hot Chocolate, their Mocha using Ritual Coffee, and their European Drinking Chocolate.
If you like chocolates, you would think you've gone to chocolate heaven with these drink choices. Each came with a small chocolate cookie.
