Though not as famous as other waterfalls, Mill Creek Falls is nevertheless impressive. The hike to get there was certainly a workout, but the abundance of wildflowers definitely entertained us. FYI, I reached the minimum daily Heart Association-recommended steps during the hike.
Mill Creek Falls is high, but it doesn't immediately become apparent because when we first laid our eyes on it, we were on an overlook on top of a ravine opposite the waterfall. We could see the top, but could not fully grasp the depth to which the water falls.
Luckily, the National Park built a footbridge that connects both side and has a great view over the waterfall as it drops down to the river below. Very dramatic. Very much worth the hike.
